Patronage of the Committee of Economic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences

The principles of applying for the patronage of the Committee on Economic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences are regulated by DECISION No. 18/2025 of the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences of 15 April 2025 on the introduction of the Regulations for entities
applying for the honorary patronage of the President of the Polish Academy.

The Committee on Economic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences provides patronage to events of special rank and importance, contributing to the promotion of scientific research results in the discipline of economics and finance or related fields. The patronage of the Committee on Economic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences may also cover activities promoting economic education or influencing the development of sustainable economic activity. The patronage of the Committee on Economic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences is a form of recognition, support and distinction.

A request for patronage should be sent to the Chairwoman of the Committee on Economic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences by e-mail or by traditional mail no later than one month before the requested event. After obtaining the patronage of the Committee of Economic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the event organiser undertakes to place information about the patronage along with the logo of the Committee of Economic Sciences on the event website and other promotional materials.

Honorary patronage granted by the Committee of Economic Sciences in 2024:

1/ Scientific conference “Resilient and Transforming Europe”, organized by the University of Economics in Poznań on 9-10 May 2024 as part of the celebration of the twentieth anniversary of Poland’s membership in the European Union;

2/ Scientific conference III Green Region Forum – “Changes in the economy”, organized by the University of Economics in Wrocław on 25 June 2024.
